Discover The I-Ching With PRS' Sergey Poberezhny
The I-Ching, also known as the book of changes, dates as far back as 2000 BC. This ancient form of divination has greatly impacted those that seek to learn more. From influencing Chinese philosophy, to captivating psychologist, Carl Jung.
This course will take the participants on an introductional journey to learn its origins, and basic principals on the philosophy of life. The I-Ching teaches us that life is made up of good and evil, positive and negative, ups and downs. That is the way of nature, and rather then thinking we need to always uphold to what is good and combat what is bad, instead it teaches us to appreciate the balance and understand the importance of both sides of the equation.
Individuals will also learn how to ask questions pertaining to their personal lives for self-reflection, as well as participate in group discussions and group questions.
Join Sergey Poberezhny for a 3-part course and then take what you learned and start applying it to your way of life.
Recommendation: I-Ching Book (Book I started with - Link), journal, coins, & open mind. Though it is recommended that you get your own book for this course, there are plenty of translations that are available online for free. Students will receive information on where to access these
Course Outline
Class I - Origins

This first class takes students on a historical tour of the I-Ching. From its origins, to its slow evolution into the modern era. We will also take a look at some of society's influential people who have used the I-Ching for self-development, spiritual growth, and an attempt to undersand a way of living.
Class II - Understanding

Time: 9:00 PM EST - 10:30 PM EST
The I-Ching consists of 64-hexagrams. Within these, there are variety of reoccuring themes such as, patience, humility, the ego, letting go, balance and more. This class will take a look at some of these themes and discuss their implications. Students will also become more familiar of how to to conduct there own personal I-Ching readings.
Class III - Applying
Date: 12/10/2012
Time: 9:00 PM EST - 10:30 PM EST
In the final class, we will go over some applications of the I-Ching, from folk lore, to real world scenarios. By this stage, students will now be able able to continue to explore the I-Ching on their own. To find their own way of life and grow spiritualy.
I-Ching Extension Pass
The I-Ching Extension pass is for students who are seeking to get more. This is limited to 15 people to insure a more personal approach between student and teacher. This comes with at least 2 bonus classes, as well as a 1-on-1, personal I-Ching reading and interpretation with Sergey Poberezhny. Sergey will go over your reading and delve deeper in to its meaning (please note, this is NOT a psychic reading; Sergey will simply help answer questions and give you some personal education on what the text is suggesting and how to apply it to your life).
